Installation

Install the CLI globally to use the lazyenv command.

Requirements

  • Node.js: Version 20 or higher
  • Secret Management Store: Choose between Infisical, Doppler, Bitwarden, or 1Password

Choosing a Provider

lazyenv supports multiple secret management stores. Choose the one that best fits your needs:

  • Infisical - Open-source, self-hosted option, native folder support
  • Doppler - Managed service, polished UI, rich integrations
  • Bitwarden - Simple store with strong access controls
  • 1Password - Developer secret workflows
