Offline Mode

The run command supports offline fallback to .env files.

How it works

Section titled “How it works”
  1. Load secrets from your configured store
  2. If the store is unreachable, fall back to .env files
  3. Show a warning when using offline mode

Example

lazyenv run npm run dev


# Output when offline:
# ⚠️  Could not reach secret store
# Using .env (offline mode)
# ▶ Running: npm run dev

Requirements

Section titled “Requirements”

For offline mode to work, you need .env files in place:

# Pull secrets first
lazyenv pull


# Now run works offline
lazyenv run npm start
