OAuth Auto-Provisioning

lazyenv can provision OAuth credentials via browser automation during lazyenv sync.

Supported providers

• GitHub OAuth App (produces GITHUB_CLIENT_ID, GITHUB_CLIENT_SECRET)
• Google OAuth Client (produces GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID, GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET)

How it works

1. lazyenv sync detects a matching key in .env.example (for example GITHUB_CLIENT_ID)
2. You choose the matching provisioner
3. lazyenv opens a browser session and walks through app creation
4. It extracts the generated credentials and writes them to your store

Usage

1. Add the keys to your .env.example:

GITHUB_CLIENT_ID=
GITHUB_CLIENT_SECRET=

2. Run sync:

lazyenv sync

When prompted for values, pick the OAuth provisioner instead of pasting credentials manually.

Notes

• This is interactive by design (it needs a logged-in browser session).
• Use lazyenv provisioners list to see what’s available.
